Compression test results

Dry 157 147 154 152
Wet 173 167 167 162

Engine was at operating temp. R53
The pressure for #4/wet was somewhat surprising to me so I double checked it.
#2 is almost %15 greater for wet than dry; but both wet and dry numbers range no more that 7% to each other.
Overall, the numbers seem reasonable to me. Any thoughts?

I had had some codes for random misfires and a pending code for cyl 2 misfire so I decided to check out the plugs and do a compression test. The plug tips look reasonable (for ~73k) but plug 2 had a lot of oil on the outside and plug 3 had some oil sludge. I'm assuming it is the seals to the valve cover so I'll be replacing the valve cover gasket and seals soon.

The comp numbers don't look too bad. I would go ahead and replace the valve cover gasket and throw in a new set of plugs and wires. It may not solve the misfire but you're about due for replacement anyway.
