Has anyone had this happen? I know that I'm not getting a knock, but the car acts as if it does, then throuws a CEL (it goes into gas dump mode is what I mean by acts, and throws the timing way off.) Any one else have this problem. This is the first rea l issue that the car has given me in about 27K miles. and about 15K with the pulley. and about 5K with the cylinder head. I will send the code to Mini tomorrow, and see what is going on.

 

I found that the wire had been cut by not being reinstalled by someone that worked on my car. I have fiexed the wire, and the car is running perfect again.
