Just got my mini back from dealer, last week the car warning for temperature came on, come to find out water pump seal let go. Apparently water pump unit is plastic with an organic gasket and the unit does not expand at same rate of engine. They replaced with a metal unit with an upgraded neoprene and metal gasket.

Said the engine compression was within spec, will see.
