Battery issue? Need advice!

This is the third time I've noticed it to happen, and I may have found a temporary fix, but I am unsure as to what's actually going on.

Noticed that the lights would not 'blink' with a lock / unlock, and the locks themselves moved VERY slow. Additionally, the windows would not 'drop' when the doors were opened.

Finally, after a few attempts to start, noticed that the windows were attempting to go down, but they would move down in spurts of MAYBE 1/4" each time. Almost like it was having a seizure.

The car wouldn't start at all. When I finally got the battery / ignition to respond at all (just got it to turn on in ACC), the wipers moved halfway, stopped, and the windows started to stutter again. The car wouldn't start at all, it would just make a 'click' noise like the starter was shot. (Manual trans if this matters at all) The tacometer also showed an airbag warning and a "! START" warning.

Finally, sitting in the car, I locked the doors with the remote, put the key in, pushed to start, and it fired up just fine. As of now, the problem is gone.

Just curious if anybody else has had this problem or can re-direct me to a post with anybody else having this issue.

Thanks, miniacs.

I'd start by cleaning the battery terminals... checking grounds...

You didn't mention how old or mileage but your battery could be getting old or a weak or dead cell. The newer cars with all the electronics do strange things when the voltage is a little off.

'09 ~46k miles. Could very well be a bad battery, I'm hoping that's all it is. It's a very strange and very specific issue so I'm just a little weary as to what it might be.
