Loose brake pedal?

I just noticed this morning that my 2012's pedal seems to have 1/4-1/2 an inch of play before it feels solid. Is something coming loose? Is this user-adjustable?

Mine does the same thing. Dealer told me it was the front brakes that caused it. They were replaced, and it still does it.
Any luck figuring this out?

You went in with a problem that A: They couldn't figure out or B: Wasn't a parts issue at all that they could fix, so they found some sort of story that would end up costing you money. I'm not surprised.

Since when are brakes a warranty item and not a consumable? Whether you paid, or a warranty paid, sounds to me like they just fixed something to get paid to fix something. I'd be pissed at them for not fixing the actual problem, not pissed at me for making a post on a forum lmao.

You could have some play in the pedal assembly. I found a replaceable plastic bushing listed for both the brake and clutch pedals.

If there were some air in the system, would it cause the little bit of play that you report?
