Has anyone noticed, when the cruise control is on, that the car feels at times like it surges forwards a little at times, even though there's no change in RPM or speed? Could it just be varying wind levels? Or maybe ECU or something? Or maybe even just my imagination (doubtful)? FYI this is a manual car.

 

Any update on this? Did it ever go away? I reset my ECU over the weekend and bam, I have the surging/pulsing cruise control issue.

 

unfortunately no - that's just how the car was. i sold it for a 2013 though, I haven't done much highway driving but i cant say that i've noticed anything similar

 

Hard to believe NAM doesn't have an answer for this.

 

previous owner said he never noticed it, so we may just have more butt-sensitivity than other owners lol

 

Hah! No, this is definitely something that started since I reset the ECU on Saturday. I love the car, but geez, it's something new every week.
