I have a 2005 Cabrio, non-S. Does anyone have a drawing of the guts of the headlights? My driver side looks down and I'd like to know what it looks like inside before I dig into it. Additionally, are the lights supposed to move with the wheel, lighting the direction I'm turning. The owners manual doesn't address this (nor much of anything else, like where clutch fluid goes. In the maintenance section they just should have put "Take it to the Dealer.") so I don't know.

 

I also am curious about what model started doing the turn with the wheel thing.

 

Gen1 are not "adaptive"...that was an option that started with gen2 cars at some point...just like bi-xenon....gen 1 uses hallogon highbeam, and xenon low beams, with auto levelers...nothing fact..remember the car dates to 2002 mechanically....

Clutch fluid is shared with the braking system on 99% of modern cars...including the mini.
Consider buying a Bentley service manual... About $100.
