You have a common problem with the alta intake.
The red filter doesn't attach to the ring on the intake box very well. It gets loose easily.

Get some alcohol and wipe the ring clean of oil which came off of the filter.
This allows the intake filter to be fastened tighter to the ring so that it doesn't slip.

The design fix for this would be a ring that is slighter wider so that the filter can tighten onto to it better.

I have Alta with no problem.

As minihune suggested, clean the contact area. Another thing to consider is to add a layer of thin weather striping for a tighter fit.

Another suggestion,

Take a pair of pliers and go around the ring on the intake box, gently prising up a section or three. If done properly, you will have no problem slipping the filter and it's tightening band over the box's ring, and it will allow sufficient change in diameter to get a tight fit.

I would also suggest wrapping the ring with 3M electric tape to get it meatier
after you degrease the ring.

Didnt have this problem on my Pilo intake.
