Clutch Slippage/gear box?

At 48K on my 07MCS I had to replace the clutch. Its been about 4 months now and I notice a whining noise generally when starting out or in stop n go traffic. Also notice a slipping feel again which is similair to symptoms last time. The current clutch is a Spec Stage 2+. Is there a fluid resevoir for the clutch or has anybody else dealt with similiar issues.

It shares it with the brakes. Lots of talk about clutches. Do a search on the clutch you have and you will see some answers.

Yup, spec clutch garbage. Not exactly a respected solution for the R56 yet. Go back to OEM clutch or pay up for OS Giken.

I'd have to agree, we've had some short life issues with Spec clutches. In defense of Spec, any time you're installing a 'heavy duty' clutch it's because the driver is planning on wailing on it. A few clumsy Fast-n-Furious launches and you could be buying a clutch.

Let me preface this with I have not done any power upgrades yet to my car and why is it only second gear where im having my biggest issue whith the cluth completey engaged. The oem clutch behaved identical to this When I replaced the clutch and fly wheel the rivets were worn out on the friction disc so the is an issue somewhere. And if I want to do as you say fast and furious I will get in My 6 second Pro street car which even uncer the abuse it goes under Ive never felt this behavior. I dpo drive like I stole it but I dont do burnouts nor ride the clutch I have only owned 1 vehicle that was an automatic in the 17 years Ive driven and I totaled that 3 weeks after I bought it so I have a little experience driving the cutch and find it hard to believe that Ive had 2 different models same symptoms but its the new clutch. Im curious if anyone has had other issues that led to premature clutch failure before I throw another clutch at it. I have used spec in other applications without issue I was dissapointed that I did not have an after market Fly wheel option other that OS Giken. I am sponsored by another flywheel company.

Alsoo My decision to go heavy duty was influenced by my philosophy of why not upgrade while your there. I do not pull any stock part and repace strock if I have option along with anything in the process of repair.
