Mini shaky and ASC Light/Indicator is always ON, help!

Hi guys,

All this weekend I went to a trip with my Mini and my Club to run all the Minis in a Nascar Oval that is in another city here in Mexico.

Well everything fine with my R53 in all the trip and also in the track day and the races there.

The problem was when I almost arrived at home the ASC indicator(light) turns ON without do anything and I tried to turn it OFF with the ASC button but it doesn´t responds, then I shutted of my Mini a little time then I turned it ON again and the ASC light again appears a few seconds later, also I noticed when I arrived home that the car is a little shaky as if the gasoline has a little garbage, something like that.

What do u think could be the problem ??, I am little worried. =(

Thank you in advance for all your comments.

Mario

I'd say, take it to a MINI authorized shop, and have then do some diagnostics tests first and foremost. It could be a software problem.

Hi Noir, do u think is the software? I have some mods installed so I did a repro in the ECU more or less 2 months ago

I cant go to the Mini dealer because the Mini is out of warranty and the dealer is crazy expensive so tomorrow my mechanic will check it

I am very worried ={

Hi again,

Today the mechanic scan the Mini and the problems that shows was the oxygen sensor and something with the ABS.

So do u think the shakyness could be caused because the oxygen sensor ?

And maybe I will need to change an ABS sensor (I didn´t know that the ABS has a sensor hehehe), could this one will fit my mini ??

Amazon Amazon

Please tell me and thank you so much!!
