Window Motor and Regulator: Where to Buy

My drivers side regulator has been frozen for a year now and I'm finally sick and tired of it. I've had the door panel off a few times and I know the issue is in the cables and pulley's. I plan on replacing both the motor and regulator so I won't have to deal with it again any time soon. It seems like everyone recommends getting the OEM regulator instead of a replacement. The best price I can find for the pair is around $285. Is that the best price I'm going to get? Thanks!

That's actually a pretty decent price for both!

We have an article here http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...eplacement.htm if you need a reference guide on replacing it.

Thanks. That's exactly what I used. Took me about 2 hrs this evening including a 30 minute break to stop the bleeding from my knuckle as I jammed it right into the sheet metal punch outs inside the door when I was trying to pry the white clips out of the door panel. Mine is an early '02 and the screws that secure the motor to the door are philips, not torx. That's the only difference I noticed. Everything is working great now!
