Question about timing chain
Question about timing chain
So about a week ago my car started the rattling on a cold start, I read up on here and it seems as though my timing chain needed to be looked at. I called the dealer and made an appointment for this Thursday. However the last few days it has stopped and it has been driving fine. Should I cancel the appointment or still bring it in to be looked at? I have a 2010 MCS with 42k on the clock so I am still under warranty
No question bring it in and have the timing chain looked at, especially if your warranty period is still in affect.
Do yourself a favor too by making sure the engine oil is up to the correct level.

Yeah I tried to fix the spelling of the title but it won't let me on the iPhone app
And okay, I figured I might as well if its under warranty
And the oil was a little low after it rattled the first time so I added a quart but it continued for a few days after that
