No Power to hatch actuator

No Power to hatch actuator
I have no power going to the hatch actuator in my R53. I have no idea what it could be that is causing my hatch to not be able to unlock. The actuator has been tested and works when power is put to it, but no power from the car is being delivered. Where is my first place to go for checking? Could it be the BCM? If so, where is the BCM for it?
Just for reference purposes, the BCM on our project MCS was located in the passenger footwell/kick panel, located, if I remember correctly, near or behind the hood release handle.
