Hi,

on my 2011 Mini, I had a cracked right rear sidemarker light, which was relatively easy to change. The problem is that the plug that connects to the bulb holder is also damaged. A wire is broken, and the clip that holds it to the bulb holder is missing. Does Mini make a pig-tail like replacement for the purpose of repair? Something that can be added to the two existing wires? I've looked at all the online parts books I can find, but haven't turned anything up. Any part number or idea where to look is appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, your dealer should have all of the parts necessary to repair that. The ETK and RealOEM.com are not clear for the part numbers on these repair harness parts.

 

Thanks! I found several wiring repair items but not this one, so I'll just stop by and tell them what I need.

 

I did get the items to repair the harness. You need (2) 61 13 0 005 199 bushing contacts, and (1) 61 13 8 365 340 universal socket. Mini Of Omaha was very helpful in getting what I needed, and they said these are fairly common parts to both Mini and BMW.
