California Dealership Recommendations

California Dealership Recommendations
Hello, yesterday I purchased a 2009 MCS, 6spd, 18k miles. This morning there were 3 little drips of oil on my garage floor. Looked underneath and can see a very small oil leak coming from the drivers side. I will be taking it in for inspection. My nearest dealer is Stevens Creek or Mini of Camarillo, both are about 150 miles away. The car is obviously in warranty, I shouldn't be worried about getting it fixed without being charged, right? The carfax indicated that the timing chain issue was fixed previously.
Anyone have any recommendations on which of these dealerships will offer the best service? Any bad reviews of either, or any suggestions on others in those areas that might be better.
What are the chances of being able to get a loaner car? I need a car to get back and forth to work and would rather not have to pay for it myself.
Thanks!

While I had a bunch of issues with my 2011 Countryman All4, I can't say enough about Niello MINI in Sacramento. It may be too far for you but they have stellar service!
If you go to Stevens Creek MINI, by sure to say hi to Sharon Mamola - she'll take good care of you... Tell her Glenn from Sacramento sent you...

You might want to call ahead about the loaner car. You are most likely to get one if you bought from the dealer, otherwise it is at their discretion. My son needed warranty work on his Jeep and the dealer only gave him a loaner because we had purchased through them. Call ahead and see who will offer you one, that's one way to choose.

Take it to Stevens Creek MINI, they are a large (one of the largest) MINI dealerships and have the ability as well as a good staff of technicians that can get your issue solved as well as back into your vehicle ASAP. From your vague description of where you noticed the oil coming from it could be a rear main seal leak, or possibly input shaft seal from the transmission. It could also be an oil pan gasket leak as well, honestly without looking under the car, and sourcing where the oil or fluid is coming from my guess is nothing more then a stab in the dark.
Best of luck to you, let us know where you took your vehicle as well as what the issue was.
