03+ R53 Fan Harness Part # PLEASE!

Who has a part number for the 03+ R53 separating fan harness? Is it applicable to the 02 cars to separate the P/S fan circuit from the cooling fan circuit? If so who has a part number for it? Or a cheap source to them?

Looking to ultimately separate and eliminate ever having to replace this cooling fan ever again.

Is this something that you can find on realoem.com?

Try running a search on here, I think there is also a service bulletin out there describing the "split harness fix."

Why spend the money on the harness?? just saying.. You can just eliminate the power steering fan from the circuit (cut the wires on the fan side) and replace the fuse. everything will work normally.

Might cost you a $600 (part) power steering pump and a $200 ps fan....
The SB for the split was instructions...not a seperate harness. Basily rewiring it and moving the wire....
When i bought a ps fan, the vendor had enclosed the sb in the box, but mine was already done....think the box old fan and sb is long gone, but i think it said 1.5 hrs and a few shop supplies...assuming a bit of wire and a few connectors.....
