New MINI w/ Airbag & Seatbelt light on

I've had my new MINI for a little over a week and it's in the garage already. Still on the first tank of gas. The door airbag sensor went bad so the airbag light and seat belt light are on. Also have a few little creaks they are tending too. I think its related to the paneling not snapped in good?

Must say though it only took them a short time to diagnose the problem. They don't have a sensor in stock so I have a loaner until tomorrow. So far the best service experience I've had . I hope all is set tomorrow and my MINI comes back nice and clean.

Chalking it up to new car bugs... squish

Common issue?

Update: Got the MINI back. Nothing beats MINI service. My Fiat (Chrysler) service was horrid. All fixed in one visit... plus washed and vacuumed!

And of course the light goes off again when we are on vacation in Florida.

From my understanding the same sensor went bad. I'm in hopes the problem is now resolved.

Wow! There must be something other than bad sensors causing the repeated failure, hopefully your dealer will get you fixed properly next time.
