Terrible Noise from Windshield - Dealer says it slipped down
My windshield started making some terrible wind noise at 70MPH, and by 80MPH it was accomapnied by a high pitched whistle. At 90MPH, I can hear it over the Harmon Kardon system at full volume.
I took it to the dealer and they told me the windshield had slipped down and needed to be cut off and glued back on. They did it. Noise was gone.
Two weeks later, it came back same as before. Then, it went away. So, now, it's intermittent, but when it happens it sticks around for awhile.
I took it back to the dealer. They're going to cut the windshield off and put it back on again. This is getting a little ridiculous. I've only had the Cooper S since July of 2003.
Has anyone else had this same problem?

Yeah, I had that happen. What I found was the upper molding strip had delaminated from the windshield ,allowing air to circulate behind it .Dealer installed a NEW one ,problem solved.Good luck
