Timing Belt, Interference/Non-Interference on a 2006 Justacooper

Hi everyone! I've been searching posts on timing belts and interference/non-interference engines in the MINI, but everything I've found seems to relate to the MCS. I have a 2006 justacooper with about 70k on her. I used to have a Honda and know that it was an interference engine so was religious about having the timing belt changed about every 60-70k. So does the justacooper have a timing belt and when does it need to be changed? Also is the engine interference or non-interference?
Thanks

Different setup than most asian desgins. Just uses a chain like most older us desgins...it is good for an indefinite time....usually the life of the motor.
