-03 MCS CR/B, Engine failure... Need help

Hi there all NAM members!

My Mini is currently not running and I've brought the car to carshops around and they say that I need a new engine. They don't specify what parts of the engine but as I understand it it should be the head? Is there anyone out there that could maybe help me diagnose what's wrong with my engine so I know what to do? .

Looking forward to get to know you guys more and see you on the roads!
-Love

Ps. Yes, Love is my actual real name

engine

What happened to the car? If the car was overheated then anything is possible. Usually with overheats the head may warp and the gasket will fail. if that is the case then the head will need to be replaced or if possible repaired (if there are no cracks) If the car had a bad oil leak and ran out all of a sudden than it will probably be less expensive to replace the engine than try to rebuild.
More info will be needed to give a accurate feedback.
