Has anyone ever had their timing chain paid for by an extended warranty?

Has anyone ever had their timing chain paid for by an extended warranty?

Curious to know if anyone has successfully had the timing chain service performed and covered by an extended warranty, not the factory warranty.

Warranty work is generally for things that break, so if it snapped, trashed the engine or not, they repair it if it is covered in the policy. You are mentioning a service, as in preventive maintenance, which is different from warranty.

i just had mine done under the ext warrenty 2 weeks ago along with a new turbo and some other **** at 61000.
