Bail me out guys Water in the wiring harness
I've had this car a while and know it a bit,i got caught in a flash flood Sat,water up to the headlights and know Mini's dont do well in this envioriment.Needles to say i've got short curcuits going on.out of the flood i drove it home and it worked fine however while closing my front door before bed i saw lights on the dash so went out to it disconnected the batt,i've now sprayed out the fuse boxes in the foot well and next to the batt even removing the plugs from the underside of that fusebox and all other obvious plugs that i can get at in the engine bay the car will start and i hear relays clicking clicking when the batt is connected, however i still have ignition lights on and what sounds like the steering pump fan running with no key in the car,i'm going to get her on a hoist and do you guys have any pointers as to where important plugs are at on the underside or for that matter any brilliant ideas.Just based on a guess and some common sense i'm thinking the ignition switch plug.Help
P.s theres no evidence of water in the computer compartment and the engine did not ingest water thank god i have aftermarket air filter and not the stock aquarium box in there.
