Picked up my 2012 MCS a week ago, and noticed shortly after that the sport button stays on as soon as I turn on the car. The button itself works fine, and there are no other issues with the car, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has heard of this issue.

I called Mini of Peabody and they researched the issue, they want me to bring it in. Its a minor inconvenience, but just seeing if anyone else out there has experienced this.

 

hehe - I had to mod my MINI to get the sport button to always be on when I started the car up.

Maybe MINI now makes that configurable?

But to answer the question, this is the first I've heard of this "problem"?

 

The sport mode isnt engaged, only the light on the button. I can press the button after I start the car and it will go into sport mode. When I press it again to turn sport mode off, the light does not turn off.
