Can you normally hear the timing chain?

Can you normally hear the timing chain?

So say the car is in 100% perfect order, can you still hear the timing chain to some degree? Or should it be dead silent and just the injectors clicking away?

No, you shouldn't hear the timing chain.

I don't hear my injectors either, but I guess that could vary with the injectors.

Well, something is clicking away and varies with engine speed. Pretty sure it was the injectors.

yeah when I first got mine I thought it was a pretty loud engine. loud ticking. every other mini I have seen seems to be the same though so I stopped worrying. just search on you tube and compare.
