I know that this topic if probably been beaten to death but I tryed searching and couldnt find any other situations like mine. So my A/C has been kinda weak since I got the car but never pay much attention to it. It blew cold enough for me but this summer it decided to just stop working at all. I first checked to see if i just need more freon but noticed the compressor not kicking. I also noticed my fan has no speed1 and my power steering fan is not working also. Do all signs lead to the fan being faulty? I have checked the a/c fuses and its good. What should i look for next?

 

Sounds like the low speed fan failed on the rad.....thiscmay have overworked the compressor (made it work at higher pressures) and it failed prematurely....
Like any guess online....it is with what you paid for it....
do some real checks before throwing parts at it...

It could also be a fan issue, and low pressure on the ac coolant....caused by lack of volume, made worse by the fan...or a bad clutch on the ac....(only sold on a new/rebuilt compressor).
Fan issue, while seperate, can exasterbate an ac issue...
