Trunk Latch

The Trunk Latch of My 2007 MINI intermittently refuses to close (lock) I have to hit the trunk latch release on the remote and them shut the door again. I am assuming the electronic latch needs to be replaced but I cant seem to find the parts or the schematics online any suggestions?
