ok..i just filled up my tank..like literally filled it up today, took off for lunch and realized my fuel gauge is all the way to the bottom???? its showing empty and the computer range showing -------....any comments as to what might be wrong?

 

I had the same problem last night and it read correctly this morning. My guess is that I overfilled it, 'causing the gauge to read incorrectly. The solution apparently is either to use up some gas to get it back to the proper "full" level or perhaps to shut off the car and restart it. I'm thinking you did like I tend to do, and that is to squeeze as much gas into the tank as you can when filling it.

 

Yup that's exactly what i did, but i've done it before with no problems, hopefully it is what you just mention, i can't take another issue with this machine, its becoming problem to my pockets if you know what i mean lol..
