I changed my oil yesterday evening (my mid interval change at 7500K miles that I normally do, I have 23k on the car total). When I started the car this morning, the service light came on momentarily with no other lights and then went off. Until yesterday I had 7000 Miles to go until service. Car was last serviced in December at the dealer. The oil was 3/4 up on the dip stick after last night's change so I think I am OK there. The service light comes on maybe every other time when I started it today (but maybe that's all I noticed). The check info portion of the computer says everything is OK and again this is not a check engine light, only the service icon in the tach. Any idea's?

 

Call off the dogs! I can't believe I did that! Must be getting old. Under the service icon was the mileage. I don't know why I remember that being displayed on the radio display before. Anyway, nothing to look at here. Never mind!
