My car has recently had v36 installed and a couple of weeks after that, the Webb/Powerchip ECU upgrade. Programmable features that were to be changed during the 36 upgrade went away within a couple of days of installation. My SA said bring it back and they'd re-do them.

How would a PF just change back like that? When they reprogram the features am I in any danger of them screwing up my newly modded ECU?

Changing the PF should have no effect on the ECU mapping - unless your dealership is stupid and rewrites the whole code. Be sure to ask them not to do that, and only change the PF's Not sure on why your computer would suddenly reject the PF's, though the MINI seems to be more Voo-Doo than Logic as time goes by

Yeah, it was wierd. I had the locks changed to all open on one push of the button and also to all open when the ignition was shut off. I didn't think to check the "all unlock" feature when they gave it back to me, but the "one touch lock/unlock" worked that day. When I got home I turned the key off and nothing unlocked, called the SA and he said sorry, bring it back when you can. The next time I tried to unlock it took two pushes! Voo-Doo is right.

I carry chicken bones in my glove box now.

I hope a request to not rewrite the whole code doesn't raise suspicions about ECU mods!
