Will it take more than 2 days to replace high pressure fuel pump?

If anyone knows the answer, please respond.
My mini cooper is in the shop over the weekend. Dealer is waiting for mini to okay the replacement of the fuel pump. If it is approved today, will my car be done by tomorrow the very latest? Or will it take much more than one or 2 days? I will need to be out of town leaving Wednesday so I need to know. If it can't be done, I need to schedule another date to bring my mini in.

PLEASE respond if you know the answer.

Thanks.

Have you talked with your SA to see if they have the part in stock or not and asked what's the turn around time on a issue like this?

Mine took half a day to be replaced. I dropped it off at 8 am and they called me at 2 pm to say it was ready.

I had a call from Mini this morning. I assumed they were going to replace the fuel pump but they said it was to clean the fuel injector. Interesting enough, when I drove my car in to another dealer awhile back, they said it was air mass sensor but this dealer said I needed to clean the fuel injector. Are both related? Are both very serious problem or routine problems?

I wll be able to pick up the car tomorrow.

After cleaning fuel injector and letting car sit overnight. they decided to replace the fuel pump after all. I also had an oil change.

Wondering if it would help since the new HP fuel pump may also be a faulty one even though it is new ( I hope)
