My 2007 mini cooper S ignited (on its own) and burned to a crisp yesterday 5/28/11. ....no insurance help available on the holiday weekend. The police and fire department and DEC were EXTREMELY ssympathetic. I will post further when I have more info. I am lucky the mini was not in my garage (although the health food store parking lot will need repair) I am REALLY lucky that I was not in the car! What a disaster!
