Key Fob Problems :(

One day a few weeks ago it rained for 2 days straight really hard. when i got in my car water started coming out of the mirror and my key fob didnt work. I did some research and found out theyre is a problem sometimes when windshields are replaced(mine just got replaced 3 times in a row cause they messed up the first 2) or it could be a sunroof problem. Since then the water stopped coming in the car but the key fob doesnt work. Even tried using the second key fob and still no good.

Any ideas?

Some cars has rain sensor to automatically starts the wiper when sensing the windshield is wet & raining. Never heard of a windshield that will affect the FOB operation.
The only thing I could think is the FOB receiver is bad. I think the mini receiver is placed at the rearview mirror.
