Rear Seat Broke

Two days ago I went to load the Mini up with a bunch of useless crap and Im pretty sure I broke the latch for the drivers side rear seat. I pulled the latch and heard a snap. Now I can't get the seat down. Anyone else have this problem? Or even a suggestion? I tried using a screw driver, but after seeing how the other side works I noticed that wasn't going to work. I saw someone had posted something about this is 2007. They took it to a dealership. Im hoping thats not my only option.

Thoughts....

Pry the plastic housing (around the latch) off, and then you'll see where the latch broke off from the spring loaded lever. Pull that up with a pair of pliers or something.
