Has anyone out there removed the faceplate on their IHKA climate control head unit? Somewhere in the the distant past somebody sprayed a Coke or something else sticky on the console and now the buttons on one side are hard to press. I've tried tuner spray but no luck, it works for a couple days and then they lock up again. As I recall there are a series of tabs around the perimeter but wondered if there was any experience out there. TIA

this is the second gen forums and you i believe are asking about a first gen car, or at least that is what is in your signature.
