Supercharger Replacement
Helix seems to have rebuilds currently available. You'll have to send yours in to get the rebuild for $750. http://www.helix13.com/1st-gen-mini/oem-used-bits/#top
Consider Stiegemeyer (http://www.stiegemeier.com/pricing.html). Pricing starts out at $400, and a full rebuild is $900. If you have a JCW upgrade, or if your MCS is '05 or '06, it might be a little extra if the rotors need to have a new coating of teflon.
We do have rebuilt units in stock--just be sure that it's the supercharger that has failed, and not another pulley, before investing in a reman supercharger. Use the prybar-as-stethoscope method to listen to the bearings in the nose and tail of the charger. We charge 5 hours for the work.
