Up to what year of seats can I drop into my S. The vinyl on the drivers seat is starting to crack and rip, I just want stock seats that hopefully will be newer and plug and play.

What about seat covers?

 

I'm not sure about plug & go but I believe all seats are interchangeable from 02 - 06.
Won't swear to it though.
What type of seats do you have?

 

I believe I have the sport seats, they have high side bolsters on the seat and back, not heated.

Have you looked into getting it reupholstered? I'm sure some local shop could get it done, perhaps just new pieces where it is torn and not the whole seat. Couldn't be too much... I have heard of a guy getting his entire interior redone in leather for less than $1500.

 

you could always just replace the front seats and call it a day.
That's what i did.
$265 for a set
$100 bucks embroidery
a few more bucks for longer seat belt latch bolts.
you would really have to shop around and have patience.
i was lucky to find a good set for that price.
