replaced rad fan, still no low speed

I just replaced my rad fan after a couple overheating issues sitting in traffic. The power steering fan was jammed up when I was removing belly pan, etc. I free'd up the fan and put in the new rad fan. I checked fuses and all look well. Put on A/C and let car idle. Do not see low speed fan coming on. Even swapped our relays in fuse box also. Thoughts.

Same thing is happening to me!
High speed fan comes on at 112C like the Bentley Manual says it should, and goes off at 105C.
Also have a coolant leak I can't find. Have to top off reservoir every other day. Going to put some dye in the system and check it with the UV tomorrow.

What's you're build date, and which fan did you get? Does it have the same wiring as the old one you replaced?
(Pre March 2003 17101475577 = 2 connectors - 3 wires on larger connector and 2 on the smaller one,
March 2003 on 17117541092 = 1 connector with 3 wires).
By the way, you can't go by the number stamped on the fan assembly itself,
My correct one (17117541092) was labeled 17101475577 on the plastic housing. Go by the number of connectors.
My car is a 2/28/03 build R50 and they sent me the early one (2 connectors,
which is what realoem said based on the OEM as well, but mine actually
took the later one (one connector). The early ones need a relay energized
by the small connector for the low speed fan to run.
Some earlier cars have had the wiring changed (power steering fan ran on the
same fuse as the radiator - was changed on some that had problems),
so this is another possibility.

I have the early build car with two connectors. Car was made 10/02. The new assembly snapped right in.

Does the high speed fan come on at 112? Did you check all 3 fuses - 50 A F11 for the high speed, 20 A F08 for the low speed,
and 5 A F05 for the low speed fan and steering fan relay? From the Bentley wiring diagrams, there seems to be 3 relays -
one for the low speed fan (this one is buried inside the fan assembly, a couple inches over from the resistor), one for the
high speed fan, and one for the low fan and power steering fan both.
Can't think of much else except get out the multimeter and see what's getting power and if the fan circuits are ok.
