So i got the gauge in tonight, still need to mount it. but good news the oil light does not come on and my pressure gauge is reading 20 psi when idol and around 60 psi at 3000 rpm's. I still need to mount the gauge and put the inner wheel fender on, and button up a few other things. but i did drive it around the bock about 5 times and all is running well.

Did Steve pinch/cut a wire when he swapped out your head? Maybe look for a loose ground
JPM
Not sure about a pinched wire by I know the sending unit uses the block as a ground.. One wire sensor, I got the gauge mounted just need to wire it up, waiting for a blue led... Of course to match the rest of the blue gauges, I got a damn good quote from Alta on a crank pulley, SC Pulley, belt, tension stop and pulley puller. So I may still be doing that, as I ended up buying the belt tool..
