OK heres the story the other day i went to start up my volvo s40 thats been parked in the garage for weeks. I think i left the dome light on because the battery was dead when i tried to start it. To make a long story short i took the battery out of my 2005 mini (non-s) and put it in the volvo because it would not start even with jump. Today i put the battery back in the MINI. Before i go to start i wanted to remove the wiring for my sub (Power and remote wires) Lazy me disconnected the power and just tried pulling it through the car possibly getting snagged on something else. NOW the mini wont start. It gets power everything seems to work but, car will not even crank. i checked all the fuses nothing blown was fiddling around with the harnesses near the fuse box thinking maybe it could be that but still nothing. I did however see something i wasnt sure was in the right spot so included a picture. I also noticed now the EML light and check engine light are on. Any help is so greatly appreciated. Im moving out of state next week and need to get this squared away.

 

know one has any suggestions? I forgot to add i stupidly lightly sprayed the engine bay with water to clean it so that may contribute to my problems?

 

Wish someone would have chimed in so i wouldn't have wasted money on a starter i didnt need. That things in my picture is the sensor for the clutch which allows the car to start when the clutch petal is pressed. Well car starts and runs good now.. .Now to tackle the air bag lights....
