Loose Boot Trim Handles

Hey Guys!

Searched the forums and didn't see this issue.

Background:
2009 MINI Cooper
Second owner

Problem:
Noticed from day one when the SA closed the hatch that there was a gap or flex in the boot trim when closing the hatch with the interior two handles. Didn't think anything of it.....today when I get to work I put a box in the boot and see that the trim is loose. So I take a closer look and find out that the yellow clip that holds down the trim by the handle area is broken on both sides....

This is the part: 07131503417
This is the URL for the diagram: http://www.penskeparts.com/DiagramsMain.aspx?vid=50030

Question:
This looks like an easy fix and all I need are the 2 yellow clips. Unless something is broken that holds those clips to the trim. Anyhow, would it be possible for MINI to replace those clips under warranty?

I would presume this would be corrected under warranty. I suppose you've got to take it back to the dealer and ask them, though...
