Air conditioner and radiator fan issues

Hello all, I have an 06 MCc that is having some A/C and radiator fan irregularities.

Back story:
A couple weeks ago my mini overheated, I took it to the dealer and they replaced the aux fan and thermostat. After that all was good except I noticed a "whirrrrrrr" noise when I went over 3k rpm in 1st and 2nd gear.

Current situation:
Since the day I drove this car off the lot the air conditioner has been mediocre at best, but as of late I've had to keep it maxed out just to maintain a comfortable temp (I live in south florida, it's hot!). So today I gave it a shot of 134a and replaced the cabin air filter.
The A/C temp is slightly improved but the high pitched "whiirrrrrr" is now constant over 3k rpm when the A/C is on. And the Radiator fan seems to be in overdrive whenever the A/C is on.

One more thing:
My parking sensor has not been working for some time. I recently replaced the fuse and it worked fine for a short time before blowing the fuse again. After reading a few threads it appears as if this may be an indication of my PS fan is not working. I will check into that tomorrow.

So my questions are: what's causing the high pitched whirring sound? And, is it normal for the radiator fan to be in turbo mode when the A/C is on on a hot day?

This thread might explain some things about your cooling fan issues.

I can only guess about the whirring sound, it could be any number of things. Get yourself a cheap mechanic's stethescope at an autoparts store and see if you can find the source of the whirring.

Sorry I am no help on the Park Distance, they did not come on an 02.
