I've talked to the dealership already but was wondering if anyone has encounterd this problem. My Mini had only been on the lot for a whole 2 hours before I bought it. I drove it about 200 miles back home from Nashville to Louisville KY. Everything went perfect. This morning it was pretty chilly and when I started it up, every couple minutes the battery light would flicker real quick. After work, (about 7 hours) I started it back up and I did not notice the light. Anyone know what could cause the light to flash? Thanks in advance.

 

This is a common 'fault'. I had it on my 2003 MC. Easily fixed; tighten the connections on your battery. You can do it yourself if you don't want to go all the way to your dealership's service facility.

 

I did this and it seemed to fix the problem. But it happend again the other day when it got really cold (like 7 degrees). Could it be because of the weather?
