Chrome belt line doesn't line up

Hi guys,

Just got my new Mini, brilliant car there will be some photos up on here soon, however there is one little thing niggling me.

The chrome belt line on the passenger door is slightly lower than the belt line on the rear window. It is only a slight thing but once you've noticed it you see it all the time. The trim lines up perfectly on the drivers side, its just the passenger side. The door is at its correct height so I cant understand why the trims lower, anyone got any suggestions on what I could do to line it up?

Thanks, Tom.

Just about every Mini I've looked at including mine has the same problem, the cheap little plastic chrome trim doesn't line up perfectly...

Yep.
I don't know if or how you plan to customize your MINI, but "blacking out" the belt line makes it MUCH less obvious. There are various ways to do this; searching the forum will uncover several. If you're still confused, but interested, I can post some photos of how I did mine.
