Simple diagnostic code that allows for clearing them out, as well as oil and service codes, is the Peake tool from Moss MINI. If you want something better, get with Tuner Tools (http://www.tunertools.com/). Buy the OBDScan tool for use with a laptop. It includes the interface cables, as well as a diagnostic program for the computer. If you also want to datalog and do drag runs, buy ScanXL Pro software.
