Posted on cabrio forum. Sorry looks like belongs here. 2009 Cooper S Cabrio with 6100 miles. Car stopped running and coasted to a stop. Clutch point high over last several days. Burning smell since bought from dealer at 4xxx miles. Is this the clutch. Is anyone with new model having clutch issues with so few miles. Remember problems with 1st generation mini. Thanks.

 

My 2009 Cabrio had a clutch replacement done at 6500 miles. I surely hope this isn't normal.

 

Did the dealer cover the costs. Seems like some will cover others will not. Thanks

 

My dealer did cover it as 'one time good will.'
