HELP!! Where is Air Temp. Sensor???

Hi guys.
I have a 2006 Cooper S.
My SES light is on and my air temp always reading -40*F and flashing.
One time when I started my car is was actually working fine and showed the real temp, but the next time I started the car...it was again showing -40*F...

Where is this sensor located and what does it look like? Can anyone post any pictures?

I've heard that ppl say it's connected to the lower plastic grille in the bumper. But when I was changing my stock bumper to the Factory Sports bumper and I don't remember any sensor being attached to the stock bumper except the fog light cords & side marker lights.

Please help me.

It's in the bumper not the bumper cover. Mine is on the driver's side slipped into one of the large holes.
