List the problems you have had with your Mini.
i love the bad fuel run around. in all the cars i've had, and my family has had that i took in and whatnot i'd never got the "bad fuel" excuse. several mercedes-benzs', vw's, infiniti's, audi's. but bmw/mini seem to think fuel is the devil and their little fancy engines can't handle lower octanes. come on... hah

I am in the hunk of junk crowd. Granted it was used when I got it, but a $1500 clutch replacement because the throw bearing is plastic? Replaced the steering pump, both muffler brackets, license plate light, passenger door lock, 4 frozen lug nuts (anti sieze is a god-send) and an ABS sensor is next. Call me a traitor but I talk people out of these cars if asked.
At 36k dec 2006 build problems as follows
1. replace thermostat housing to cure a leak
2. Adjust and lube sunroof to correct occasional problem of sticking when opening it in hot weather.
One issue that will have to be addressed eventually is failure of the hatch to unlock when unlocking car doors. Also, although I have never experienced it, I want the cold start fix before warranty expires.
So far so good. Totally reliable.

2010 Clubman S.
The driver’s side visor had a short that required the headliner to be taken out.
They did a terrible job putting it back together. Dirty hand prints everywhere.
The car has a squeal noise after driven for more than 45 minutes.
The hood scoop looks like it’s starting to melt.

Many O2 sensors replaced plus finally the ECM for a "check engine" light that was constantly coming on, wife reclined the drivers seat to the full back position and it wouldn't return to the upright position all repaired under warranty. Latest problem was that the inside driver's door latch wouldn't consistently open the door. Turns out the blue thingy on the latch release cable had come unseated. I repaired that myself since the car is long since out of warranty. I have to concur that this vehicle has had far more issues than I would have expected.
Keyless entry/start crapped out at 19,000 miles. Dealer originally said it I needed new batterys (both my key fobs don't work). After replacing both batterys still doesn't work. I was then told they never saw this before. They ordered a new (hopefully) rear view mirror (it seems that's where all the magical keyless entry parts are located) to be installed May 5th. I'll post a follow up.
