lil problem.....

yesterday in 2 separate instances...the tire pressre and DSC lights came on by themselves simultaniously. The car did not act funny nor did it do anything that the lights just came on. The switches for both would not work to turn off the lights. I stopped..turned the car off...then restarted and it was fine. This worked for both instances. The service light never came on at all. Then this morning...I get to work..and I'm sitting in the car with the engine off...and the radio on and seat heater....for roughly 20 mins...and it drained the battery. I noticed the dash lights dim....and the car would not turn over. Could this possiblly be linked? Faulty battery causing the lights to turn on? Maybe a bad cell? Any feed back is appreciated.

2nd issue first: 20 minutes of the seat heater on and engine not running (read: alternator not charging or powering anything) - well, electric heaters (even on low) draw a LOT of juice, so that's an easy one...

I've had that issue w/ the DCS and tire lights coming on at the same time happen to me 4 times - all during pretty cold weather (talking Vermont cold ) - every time I stopped and checked inflation pressures (all OK), went back to motoring and they went off - no other issues I can find related, just chalked it up to cold electronics (fwiw the 'low tire' sensors - at least in mine - work off of measuring the rotation of the wheel; same sensor as used for the ABS and DSC - related?)...

Tire pressure / DSC light is due to a fail wheel speed sensor.
