Heated seats - blown fuse
So maybe a few months ago the fuse blew for my heated seats. I replaced it after a while and all was good, until today. The fuse blew again, then the replacement blew only minutes later, the one after that in a matter of seconds (I have lots of spares). I'm not adding any more fuses, but I want to know why my heated seats won't work. Could the heater core be going bad? Could some wire have had it's insulation worn off? Is the dealer the only one who could accurately diagnose this? Heated seats are of great importance, especially in January and February.
Mine doesn't have heaters (SoCal
) so I can only assume that both your seats are heated. If that's the case, have you tried unplugging them one by one to determine which one is bad?
BTW, if you're really lucky, the fuse will blow even after you unplug both heaters...

nabeshin (or anyone else reading), did you get your seats fixed? If so, can you describe the problem and fix? I had this issue this past weekend, fuses were blowing seconds after turning on the seats.
Unfortunately, I had to leave town for work the day after I noticed this issue, so I wasn't able to do any diagnosis. Really bums me out that I can't just enjoy the car, it seems like every coupla months there's another annoyance to address.
