Bleeder/cylinder/flush problem

Hi guys,
I need some input here, please help me out...
I was trying to do a flush (with a pressure bleeder) to the clutch system as per the Bentley manual... manual says i should not pump more than 14psi... well just to play it save i decided to pump just 10 psi.. and as soon as the gauge hit the 10 psi mark you could hear a pshh sound (air releasing sound) ... i quickly checked under the car and some brake fluid was dripping... checked for the source of the leak and the trail followed all the way up to the reservoir (right under it) but leak had stopped by that time.. so i put pressure again and it did not leak until it reached the 5 psi (apparently it was leaking right under the reservoir)... i tried to push the brakes just to see if it would leak again and nothing... apparently it only leaks whenever i put some pressure with the bleeder...

What do you think is the source of the leak??? a possible o-ring failure in the connection between the reservoir and the master cylinder??? any suggestion will be appreciated.
thanks
